Moving Oklahoma forward.
Government should work for the people who make this state strong: our teachers, workers, veterans, seniors, and all people & families. These priorities came from thousands of conversations on doorsteps across District 91.
Strong Schools for All Students
Oklahoma's schools need leadership in the State House that listens to parents, respects teachers, and keeps politics out of the classroom. My daughters are in Moore Public Schools. I'm not going to vote on education like someone reading about it.
- Keep our promises to teachers. Fully fund the raises the state promises, so districts aren't forced to cut elsewhere to cover them.
- Raise the bottom of the pay scale to keep good teachers in Oklahoma and end our reliance on emergency certifications.
- A real path for every student, whether it's a trade, military service, or a university degree, through CareerTech, apprenticeships, and affordable college.
- Public money, public accountability. Fund the schools most Oklahoma kids attend first.
Property-Tax Relief That Protects Our Schools
Oklahoma homeowners need meaningful property-tax relief, but we also need to be honest about how we pay for our schools, roads, and first responders.
- Raise the homestead exemption so every homeowner gets relief, not just a few.
- Protect local services. Property taxes fund our schools, fire departments, and county services. Relief shouldn't come out of our kids' classrooms.
- Tax relief for working families first, not cuts that get paid for by our schools and roads.
Insurance Accountability
Oklahomans are paying more and more to insure their homes and cars, and families deserve both fair rates and fair treatment when they file a claim. I'll push for greater transparency when insurers raise rates, stronger reporting on cancellations and non-renewals, faster deadlines for handling claims, and meaningful penalties when companies fail to meet their obligations. I also support expanding incentives and insurance discounts for proven storm-resistant improvements that can reduce losses.
- Power to stop unfair hikes. Oklahoma's new law requires insurers to file increases before charging them, starting in 2027. Notice isn't protection. The state must also be able to stop an unfair increase.
- Money back when you've been overcharged.
Affordable Healthcare
Most people have never heard of a pharmacy benefit manager, but they've felt one. PBMs are the middlemen between your insurance and your pharmacist. They decide what your medicine costs and what your pharmacist gets paid, and they keep the difference.
- Fair pay for hometown pharmacies, so neighborhood pharmacies don't close.
- Savings at the counter. Discounts and rebates should reach patients, not middlemen.
- No steering patients to pharmacies the middlemen own.
- Real enforcement by the Attorney General's PBM unit.
Paychecks That Keep Up
If you work full time, you should be able to afford the basics. I support raising Oklahoma's minimum wage so it better reflects today's cost of living, while also investing in workforce training, supporting local businesses, and creating pathways to higher-paying careers. As housing, groceries, insurance, and other everyday costs rise, working families deserve paychecks that rise with them.
- Childcare is workforce infrastructure. Work with employers to share the cost of childcare so parents can work and businesses can hire.
- A level playing field for local business: no special deals for out-of-state corporations, and open, competitive bidding on state contracts.
Technology That Works for You
I have degrees in computer science and information technology, so this one is personal. Technology should make life safer and easier, not more expensive or less private. More and more neighbors tell me the same thing at the door: electric bills are climbing, data centers are moving in, and AI is making decisions about their insurance and their government with no explanation. I want technology working for people again.
- Your power bill: Data centers must cover their own power and water costs, not pass them on to families, and should need local approval before they build. No secret deals.
- Your decisions: People make the important decisions about who gets hired or which insurance & benefits claims are approved, not AI.
- Your privacy: Tools that help keep us safe need clear rules: transparency, limits on how long data is kept, and protections against abuse.
- Your kids: Strong guardrails on AI chatbots and AI in classrooms.
- Your future: CareerTech and IT training so the next generation builds these tools right here in Oklahoma.
Veterans & First Responders
Service doesn't end when the uniform comes off. I spent 20 years in the Air Force, and I know what we promise the people who serve.
- Faster state licensing for veterans and military spouses, with credit for military experience.
- Real mental-health care, not just crisis care: better coordination between state agencies and the VA, and ongoing coverage for first responders.
- Support for veteran-owned small businesses through state incentives and small-business loans.
- The training, fair pay, and recruiting support law enforcement needs to keep our communities safe.
Accountable Government
Oklahomans deserve leaders who tell the truth, balance the books, and serve the people, not themselves.
- A public, line-by-line state budget dashboard and a 72-hour review period before major spending bills pass.
- End no-bid contracts and insider favoritism.
- Real penalties for open-records violations, limits on lobbyist influence, and protection for whistleblowers.
