The Stuffed Olive
Chris Fowler recently retired after 20 years of active duty service in the United States Air Force. He and Kim have been married twelve years and have two young daughters in Moore Public Schools. Chris is a servant leader running for State Representative in House District 91 to build a safer and brighter future for our kids.
"As a veteran, I believe that service never stops. The military took me around the world, but Oklahoma is home base. Unfortunately, our state government has taken its eye off the mission. From underhanded deals and corruption to big-government overreach into our personal lives and local schools, it's time for change, and I will be a representative who knows how to fight back."
Chris enlisted in 2004, starting in Aircraft Structural Maintenance before retraining into Airborne Mission Systems to fly aboard two distinct aircraft. He deployed a total of 5 times to Afghanistan, Syria, the Arabian Gulf, and South America in support of the Global War on Terror and counterdrug missions. Chris served in a variety of leadership roles, including Senior Enlisted Leader of two distinct units and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant (E-8) in April of 2024.
Fowler's platform includes educating students for our economy, fiscal transparency in spending, supporting medical professionals and patients' rights, building the infrastructure of the future, supporting benefits to veterans and first responders, and fighting for liberty and justice for all.
"My father was a Vietnam draftee who got lost in bureaucracy and never received the post-service disability benefits our country owed him. Eventually, he passed away in part because of medical misinformation and costs. But his story is far from unique. Working families across our state are struggling to keep up with inflation while dealing with health and mental health issues still lingering from COVID. I'm running because I believe the good of the unit comes before the good of myself. If this campaign helps one such family or servicemember in need, it will be worth the effort."
Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Operations Technology from Southwestern University and a Master of Science in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Over the course of his military career, he earned 22 medals and numerous awards including Squadron Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.
House District 91 is in South Oklahoma City and crosses over with Moore Public Schools. The current incumbent is term-limited in 2026.

The infrastructure of the future is more than just roads and bridges. Oklahoma must prepare for future growth, participation in the global financial market, and protecting our aging population.
Transformative economic development cannot rely only on subsidies We need to ensure our community is prepared to attract and retain corporate investment while supporting small businesses.
Oklahoma needs a workforce for the future economy and that starts with public education. With two kids in Moore Public Schools, Chris supports our educators in K-12, Career Tech, and beyond. Chris stands firmly against the big-government overreach of the State Superintendent Ryan Walters.
It's time to get politics out of the classroom and make Oklahoma competitive nationally again.
Oklahoma has a shortage of medical professionals and rising insurance rates.
Chris supports strengthening SoonerCare with better provider access, fair reimbursement rates, and coverage for early cancer screenings like mammograms -- because prevention should be affordable and accessible to every Oklahoman.
Working families are struggling with rising inflation and cost of living while our state government runs amok with corruption.
As State Representative, Chris Fowler will shine a light on the budget process and strengthen open records while holding government accountable to House District 91 and to all Oklahomans.
Chris's father was a Vietnam draftee who deployed and then got lost in red tape and never received disability benefits. Chris will work to improve services, expand mental health treatment, and provide those who sacrifice with the benefits they deserve.
That's why he has been directly involved in supporting the VA and working to focus lawmakers' attention on supporting our veterans better.
Chris Fowler is a veteran and father who believes everyone deserves a fair chance at life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Chris supports equipping our law enforcement with the tools they need to keep us safe. He also believes that anyone accused of a crime deserves their day in court -- due process for all.
House District 91 is located in South Oklahoma City and crosses over with Moore Public Schools. The current incumbent is term-limited in 2026.
